CMIS extension configuration for Sharepoint 2010 or lower
CMIS Extension Configuration
Notice that your SharePoint 2010 or 2007 server may not include the necessary CMIS 1.0 module by default. These steps are not required for SharePoint 2013.
To include CMIS 1.0, follow these steps:
1. Download and Install the SharePoint Administration Toolkit
The toolkit contains the CMIS connector. Download the appropriate version for your SharePoint:
- For SharePoint 2010, available at: Microsoft SharePoint Administration Toolkit for 2010
- For SharePoint 2007, available at: Microsoft SharePoint Administration Toolkit for 2007
2. Activate and Deploy the Connector
Run the following command in the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell at the SharePoint server. You can find the Management Shell under Start – All Programs – Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products:
Add-SPSolution –LiteralPath 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft\SharePoint 2010 Administration Toolkit\Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) Connectors\spcmis.wsp'
3. Manage Farm Solutions
This step is done in the SharePoint Central Administrator. From the System Settings menu, select Manage Farm Solutions.
4. Deploy the Connector
Select spscmis.wsp and click on Deploy Solutions.
