Bizagi Studio Workstation Installation

Overview

When using Bizagi Studio, you can participate in teamwork development through Studio Collaboration Services, set up an on-premises teamwork environment, or create local projects on your machine for prototyping or sandboxing. Depending on your needs, choose the most suitable installation method.

Developing Using Studio Collaboration Services

To access a Studio Collaboration Services (SCS) subscription, you have two options:

  • Using the Portable Edition:
The Portable Edition allows you to connect to an SCS subscription without requiring administrative permissions. You can carry it in any folder or pen drive.
    See Portable Edition.

  • Using the Bizagi Studio Quick Installation:
This installer requires administrative permissions but also allows you to create and run projects locally.
See Bizagi Studio Quick Start Installation.

Developing Using an On-Premises Teamwork Setup

To install a developer workstation for an on-premises teamwork environment, consider these options:

  • Using the Portable Edition:
The Portable Edition lets you connect to an SCS subscription without needing administrative permissions. You can carry it in any folder or pen drive.
    See Portable Edition.

  • Using the Bizagi Studio Quick Installation:
This installer requires administrative permissions but also allows you to create and run projects locally.
See Bizagi Studio Quick Start Installation.

  • Silent Installation:
An infrastructure administrator can install Bizagi Studio on multiple machines using a silent installation.

Developing Local Projects on Your Machine (Standalone)

For creating and developing projects locally on your machine, install Bizagi Studio using the Bizagi Studio Server Installation. This method sets up all the necessary components to develop and run a Bizagi project.
